We all get at least one good wish a year
Maybe over the candle on our birthday
Or like this in silent night at the end of a year

I don't know how many years I have made similar wish
Caring about every specific detail to realize it
That torture and exhaust me a little bit
But just I can't take it easy

Still we need consolation and hope
Requiring strength and belief to go on this journey
Best wish is a way out or relief

Good news is that
Every now and then one of those wishes comes true
So even I'm not an optimist
I close my eyes and give my words
Then stretch my arms to hug the coming sunrise

Wish you and me a satisfactory niu year
